Registration is open for Museum Studio art classes for adults and young artists at the Las Cruces Museum of Art. Winter session classes will begin the week of Jan. 22 and extend through March 10. Adult classes for students at all levels include Ceramics Studio, Drawing Studio, Painting with Oils, Sculpture Studio, Weaving Studio, and a series of Digital Photography classes.
Classes for young artists include drawing & painting for students 6 – 12 years; ceramics for students 4-5, 6-8, and 9–12; and a special Spring Break Arts Experience for students 6 – 8 and 9 – 12 during the week of March 24 – 28.
The popular Saturday Studio for kids will continue every Saturday morning from 10 – 11:30 a.m. for students ages 5 – 12. The class is limited to 10 students; no pre-registration; sign up at the front desk at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $5 per student per session.
