Works by first year art students at Dona Ana Community College will be on display at the Las Cruces Museum of Art Friday, Jan 18 through Saturday, Feb 23.
Charcoal drawings, ink drawings and ceramic sculptures by 15 students in Drawing 1 and Ceramics 1 classes instructed by Glenn Schweiger make up the exhibition. The ceramics class meets at the Museum of Art Ceramics Studio.
The Las Cruces Museum of Art is located at 501 N. Main St. in the downtown mall. The Gallery is accessible and free to the public. Museum hours are 10 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am – 1 pm on Saturday; closed Sunday.
